Description
Located in L'Escala, a pretty village on the Costa Brava, the Solés Factory-Museum is a family-run salting factory that opened in 1888. It has the oldest facilities of all the salting factories in the town and is a unique opportunity to learn how the famous anchovies of L'Escala are made today. The facilities have been adapted to the needs of the 21st century while maintaining the essence and tradition of its ancestors. A museum has recently been opened inside the factory to mark the 130th anniversary of Salazones Solés.
What we are going to do?
We will visit the Solés Anchovy Factory-Museum in the village of La Escala, in Girona (Costa Brava). The visit will be free with the support of an audio guide in 7 languages that allows visitors to learn about the history of the company and the production processes in an interactive way and for all audiences, showing all the stages of the different gastronomic preparations that the company offers. The experience includes a tasting of Solés products on the new "Solés Chill-Out" terrace outside the factory.

With your ticket you will be able to access the site on the day you have booked at any time during opening hours (Monday to Friday from 9am to 7pm, Saturdays and Sundays from 10am to 2pm).
