Description
We will start at the famous stairs of Sant Martí s'Acosta and continue through the narrow and labyrinthine streets of the Jewish quarter of Girona ("El Call"). With this spectacular guided tour we will feel transported back in time and breathe the atmosphere of an authentic medieval city. In the upper part of the city we will discover the Cathedral of Santa Maria, ("Great sept of Baelor" in the series "Game of Thrones"), we will walk along the old city walls, stroll through the Jardins de la Francesa, visit the German Barracks, the Arabic Baths and the Romanesque monastery of Sant Pere de Galligans, among many other monuments of Girona. Each and every one of them appear in the "Game of Thrones" series as parts of "Braavos" and "Kings Landing".
What we are going to do?
A tour of Girona's main monuments in which we will be accompanied by an accredited history expert guide, who will take us through all the scenes from the "Game of Thrones" series filmed in the city. The guide will carry a tablet to show us the scenes from the series and compare them with the original locations throughout the tour of the city. An experience that will allow us to understand why Girona was chosen for the sixth season of this famous series.
