Description
The first thing we will discover on this guided excursion is the Cap de Creus Natural Park, which is the most northeastern park on the Iberian Peninsula. An impressive and unique natural space, surrounded by spectacular cliffs that offer unbeatable views over the Gulf of Roses. There we can visit the lighthouse and take a walk to discover its vegetation and the rock formations that characterise it. Then we will head towards Cadaqués, the village most often reproduced in the paintings of the artist Salvador Dalí and where he lived for many years of his life (more specifically in the Cala de Portlligat). We will visit this beautiful village of white houses, streets made of herringbone stones, its beaches and the church of Santa Maria which is located in the highest part of the village. We will take advantage of the wide gastronomic offer of Cadaqués to have lunch and then we will go to the impressive monastery of Sant Pere de Rodes, located in a spectacular place, in the mountains of La Verdera, inside the Sierra de Rodes at an altitude of 520 metres. This privileged location offers a visual dominion of the bay of Port de la Selva and the northern part of Cap de Creus.
What we are going to do?
A full day guided excursion to visit the beautiful coastal town of Cadaqués and the spectacular monastery of Sant Pere de Rodes. After being picked up at our accommodation or agreed meeting point, we will start our tour. After lunch in Cadaqués and a visit to the monastery, we will stop in Pau and Vilajuiga, where we will visit an important agricultural cooperative. There we will finish the experience with a wine tasting with D.O. Empordà and we will taste some of the local products such as olive oil, foie gras, anchovies, sausages and artisan cheeses. Around 5pm we will return to Girona where we will end the excursion.

Important
The pick-up point will be confirmed 48 hours before the day of the activity. If you are arriving to Girona from Barcelona or any other city, you can be picked up at Girona train station. Lunch is not included in the price of the activity. The price per person is for shared tours. The price per group is for private tours (groups of up to 6 people).
Cancellation policy
Free cancellation up to 24 hours before the activity starts. If you cancel under this time or do not show up, you will not be refunded.
