Eco-snorkelling experience in the Medes Islands in l'Estartit, Girona
Description
The Medes Islands are an archipelago in the Mediterranean Sea made up of seven small islands and some islets off the coast of Brava. Today, these islands constitute one of the most important reserves of marine flora and fauna in the western Mediterranean. The protection that the area of the islands receives and the nutrients provided by the fresh water that comes from the Ter river, invite a great variety of animals, algae and plants to settle and reproduce.
What we are going to do?
We will snorkel for about 50 minutes, always accompanied by accredited guides. We will discover the spectacular habitat that lies beneath the sea surface of the Medes Islands.
