Visit to the historic centre of San Fernando, in Cadiz
Description
We will discover the ins and outs of the 13th century castle of San Romualdo, the Church of San Pedro and San Pablo, where the meetings of the 1812 Constitution began, and the Marine Observatory, a unique meteorological site in Spain.
What we are going to do?
We will take a walking tour of the seaside town of San Fernando starting at the monument of the flamenco singer Camarón de la Isla. We will continue through the exterior of the castle of San Romualdo, crossing streets and iconic places such as the Plaza del Rey until we reach the Real Teatro de las Cortes, where we will learn about the history of the Magna Carta of 1812: La Pepa. We will pass by the Royal Institute and Observatory of the Navy and learn about the services it provides.
