What we are going to do?
We will meet our guide at the famous Grand Place in Brussels for a unique experience in a small group. Throughout the tour, we will be able to taste six types of beers of different fermentation. We will have the opportunity, for example, to drink a Lambic or a Gueuze, with spontaneous fermentation; a white beer or Blanche, with bottom fermentation; and we will honour the Abbey beers, as well as the Ale, Stout or Ipa with top fermentation. We will also discover the Rouge or red beer, better known as mixed fermentation beer. To round off the tasting, we will finish with Trappist beers, brewed by the monks of the Trappist abbeys, who nowadays donate their profits to charity. The guide will take us through the city centre while explaining the history of beer and, of course, accompanying us to taste 6 locally brewed beers in the mythical and unmissable pubs of Brussels. We will learn about brewing techniques, the mysteries of those secret ingredients that are used to produce a unique taste and texture, and how to really drink and taste Belgian beer like a local.
