Description
Bilbao is a city with a unique character, combining the avant-garde with the traditional flavour of its old town, full of charming streets and restaurants with bars full of "pintxos", the hallmark of Basque gastronomy. The gastronomy of the Basque Country is so wide and varied that it cannot be enjoyed with just one or two lunches, and every meal is an opportunity to explore. The “Pintxos", small portions served on top of a slice of bread, are the best way to get a panoramic perspective of local Basque gastronomy.
What we are going to do?
We will discover the old part of Bilbao while visiting and enjoying different "pintxos" and wines around some of the best restaurants in the city. We will taste five "pintxos" in five different restaurants, the speciality of each house, combined with some of the best Spanish wines (four different Spanish Denominations of Origin and a cider). Between "pintxo" and "pintxo" we will have the opportunity to discover some important spots of this incredible city full of history.
