Guided visit to the Sachsenhausen concentration camp

tiempo 5h
idiomas English
Visit one of the closest concentration camps to the city of Berlin in comfort and accompanied by a historian.

The horrors of World War II are reflected in the Nazi concentration camp system. Sachsenhausen was the first model concentration camp upon which all future camps would be modelled. Located a short distance from Berlin, this tour exposes the brutality of the concentration camp system and the uncertainty of the prisoners' lives.

What we are going to do?

We will take a half-day guided tour of the Nazi concentration camp Sachsenhausen in Oranienburg. Departing from Berlin, we will travel to the camp in a private vehicle, accompanied at all times by a historian. We will not only be able to explore the concentration camp, but also the external sites that very few people get to see. The SS headquarters, the barracks and the place of executions, as well as some places of interest outside the camp such as the brick and ammunition factory, the SS training camps and the bakery.
