Description
More than twenty years after the fall of the Berlin Wall, the city offers its visitors a boat tour that traces part of the border of the River Spree. In addition to the many sights in the old and new city centre, this tour also shows the most recent changes in the shadow of the East Side Gallery, i.e. in the eastern part of the city. With this boat tour of East Berlin you will visit the German capital from the water. The tour starts and ends at the Old Stock Exchange and you will discover the most recent changes in the city. Parts of this tour are right next to the course of the former Berlin Wall. You will have views of the popular East Side Gallery, the picturesque Oberbaumbrücke and the imposing Molecule Men. Further west, you'll also see parts of the city centre, such as the new city palace, Museum Island and the government district.
What we are going to do?
You'll sail along Berlin's Spree River in a comfortable sightseeing boat, where you'll be able to admire such iconic sights as the Reichstag and Museum Island. On board you'll be able to relax and enjoy the views while your guide tells you all about the history of the city in detail. The explanations on board are given in German and English over the loudspeakers. For Spanish, French, Italian, Hebrew, Polish and Russian, you can use a free audio guide. In addition, a delicious food and beverage service is available on board.

East: Berlin Cathedral - TV Tower - Nikolaiviertel - Marstall - Mühlendammschleuse - Radialsystem V - Energieforum - East-Side-Gallery - Mercedes-Benz Arena - Oberbaumbrücke - Osthafen - Universal - Nhow-Hotel - Coca-Cola Headquarters - MTV, Label 1 and 2 - Badeschiff der Arena Treptow - Molecule Man. Back and further west: Museum Island with the Old National Gallery and the Bode Museum - Monbijou Park - Schiffbauerdamm - Tränenpalast - Parliament and Government District - Central Station - House of World Cultures.
