Tickets for the Poble Espanyol of Barcelona
Description
The Barcelona International Exhibition was held in 1929. In this context, it was decided to build the Poble Espanyol on the mountain of Montjuïc, as a synthesis of Spanish architecture, craftsmanship and cultural wealth during the Exhibition. Almost a century later, the Poble Espanyol is a living reflection of the soul of a country and a traffic-free, open-air venue, ideal for enjoying with family, partner or friends. Poble Espanyol is an authentic village built on the top of a mountain, so it has its main square and other smaller ones, as well as gardens, fountains and streets full of traditional houses of different styles of Spanish architecture: Romanesque, Gothic, Mudejar, Renaissance, Baroque... Poble Espanyol incorporates a complete audiovisual project that will take you deep into Spanish culture. Discover the gastronomy, traditions and landscapes in the Feeling Spain spaces and experience the most authentic celebrations in a 150 m2 installation with spectacular images and sound. Finally, in a space dedicated to Spanish architecture, culture and traditions, you can't miss a good display of craftsmanship. There are around twenty craft workshops that you can visit in Poble Espanyol.
