The Barcelona Olympic Museum is located on Montjuïc mountain and offers a unique experience of sport. This innovative museum offers visitors an overview of the different sporting disciplines, using cutting-edge technology and interactive exhibits, as well as multimedia facilities. The museum also has a permanent exhibition on the host cities of the Olympics, from Barcelona 1992 to London 2012, where you can enjoy the first Olympics to be broadcast on television. The Barcelona Olympic Museum's archive on the Barcelona Olympics contains impressive references to the mascots "Cobi" and "Petra", as you would expect, paraphernalia from the spectacular opening ceremony and much more. In the Idols space you can find references, milestones and elements of the best sportsmen and women and moments in history and carry out activities as diverse as comparing the shoes of great sportsmen and women such as Michael Jordan, Pau Gasol or Roberto Dueñas, discovering the Samaranch collection or enjoying live sport, among others. Adapted sport for people with various types of disability occupies a prominent place in this museum.
What we are going to do?
Visitors can experience sport and relive moments in the history of the Olympic Games through interactive screens and exhibitions at the Olympic and Sports Museum of Barcelona. Thanks to its simulators you can run against Carl Lewis or Usain Bolt, see how Mark Spitz or Michael Phelps swam, improve your aerodynamics when pedalling a bicycle or compare the real weight that the great weightlifting champions can lift. It is such a complete space that you can even measure your sporting skills by climbing a climbing wall, propelling yourself in a vertical jump or taking on the Batak. On the tour you can also enjoy the Barcelona '92 Games, known as the best games in history, discover the Samaranch collection and the whole history of the Olympics in a collection that is unique in the world.

Important
With your ticket you will be able to access the site on the day you have booked at any time during the opening hours (Tuesday to Saturday from 10 am to 6 pm, Sundays and public holidays from 10 am to 2.30 pm). From April to September the museum is open until 8pm.

Free cancellation up to 24 hours before the activity starts. If you cancel under this time or do not show up, you will not be refunded.
