Description
The Penedès has been a land of wine for more than 2,500 years, and its vineyards are spread throughout the area. Horse riding through the vineyards is always a pleasure, whether in winter when the vines are dormant or in summer when they are at their best. A unique experience, for which no special physical condition or previous training is required. The riding school located in Canyelles, with more than 25 years of experience in the equestrian world, offers you purebred horses as well as docile and easy to ride horses, so that you can enjoy the excursion to the maximum. With this combined experience you will be able to discover the facilities of the Miquel Jané Winery and its exquisite wines made with grapes from its own vineyards, located in the privileged wine-growing environment of the Alt Penedès. You will be able to share with your friends and family a unique day of nature, viticulture and oenology in a unique environment surrounded by vineyards and forests.
What we are going to do?
We will enjoy a full day that includes a visit to the Miquel Jané winery and its vineyards. We will take a pleasant walk through the vineyards to discover and learn about their life cycles, the different soils and the climate that characterises them. We will continue the visit inside the winery, between presses and barrels, we will receive a brief explanation about the different processes of vinification and ageing. We will continue the visit with a tasting of 4 wines produced in the winery and endorsed with prestigious international awards. The tasting will be accompanied by a tasting of regional products while a basic wine tasting course is given. After a midday break to have lunch and enjoy the wide range of gastronomic offerings in the region, we will meet again for the second part of the experience. A pleasant horseback ride through the vineyards to enjoy the tranquillity of the afternoon and discover the characteristic nature of the Penedès region.

Important
The "children's" price is for children under 12 years old. From 12 years and over, an "adult" ticket must be purchased. Minors will not be allowed to taste the wine during the tasting.
Cancellation policy
Free cancellation up to 48 hours before the activity starts. If you cancel under this time or do not show up, you will not be refunded.
