The Picasso Museum in Barcelona is the centre of reference for learning about Pablo Picasso's formative years. The genius of the young artist is revealed through the 4,251 works that make up the permanent collection. Inaugurated in 1963, the Picasso Museum also reveals his close and inseparable bond with Barcelona, forged in his adolescence and youth and which lasted until his death.
What we are going to do?
We will meet the guide at the door of the museum to gain priority access without queuing. Once inside, the visit lasts an hour and a half and in addition to visiting a unique historic building in the city, we will admire its permanent and temporary collection, which will provide us with a complete chronology of Picasso's development as an artist. We will admire the work from his beginnings in Barcelona to his main later periods, visiting masterpieces such as "Science and Charity", "Royan" and "Las Meninas".
