Description
In the middle of the Empordà, Figueres is the surrealist city par excellence. Known for its important modernist heritage and above all for its most illustrious citizen, Salvador Dalí, who had his masterpiece built in the city's former Municipal Theatre, a museum that is a complete immersion into his world and an unforgettable experience. Dalí's dream museum brings together his best works and the most surprising installations. "Dalí Jewels" is the permanent exhibition of the jewels designed by Dalí. A short distance away, Girona, the capital of the province, offers visitors a trip to one of the best preserved Jewish quarters in Europe, some very important Arab baths, its Gothic church and a route through a medieval setting dominated by a river where the colourful hanging houses give it a magical air.
What we are going to do?
Full-day guided bus tour departing from Barcelona. The tour starts first with a guided tour of the city of Girona. We will make a tour of approximately 3 hours through the streets of the old town and the Jewish quarter. Later we will continue to Figueres where we will be immersed in the world of the artist Salvador Dalí. The excursion includes the entrance and guided visit to the Dalí Theatre-Museum and the permanent exhibition of Dalí Jewels. At the end of the day we will return to Barcelona.
