Description
Incredible sunset in Meteora, an excursion you don't want to miss. Accompanied by a local guide who knows exactly where to take us to admire and fully enjoy the remarkable architecture and natural beauty of this unique landscape. We will also be able to visit the six monasteries, the interior of one of them and the Byzantine church of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary, which is the oldest surviving monument in the entire Meteora region.
What we are going to do?
A full guided tour of the Meteora area during the best time of the day, sunset. The tour takes place in a luxury bus that will take us through the 6 monasteries. We will have the privilege to enter one of them as well as the Byzantine church of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary and have a detailed guided tour with the best explanations of the guide. The guide will take us to the best location in the area to enjoy the spectacular sunset and take some nice pictures as a souvenir of the trip before returning to our departure point.

Important
Entrance fees to the monasteries are not included in the price of the experience (approximately €3 per person which can be paid during the visit) and neither is the train ticket from Athens or other towns. The monasteries of Meteora impose a strict dress code. Men must wear long trousers and women must wear long skirts and cover their shoulders (skirts are provided at the entrance of each monastery).
Cancellation policy
Free cancellation up to 48 hours before the activity starts. If you cancel under this time or do not show up, you will not be refunded.
