Description
Travel to the picturesque region around the town of Zaandam and embark on a leisurely cruise on the Zaan River. The windmills with their wooden houses on the banks of the river are one of the must-see sights of Holland and Amsterdam. Visit the charming village of Zaanse-Schans and enjoy dinner while cruising, admiring the traditional warehouses and log cabins and listening to stories about the industrial heritage and windmills of the area from the skipper-guide.
What we are going to do?
We will sail along the Zaan River through the traditional windmills accompanied by an expert guide who will explain the history of these typical constructions of the area. We will relax with a glass of champagne and at the end we will enjoy a dinner with 3 traditional Dutch dishes.
