idiomas Spanish, English
The most complete experience to enjoy during your holiday in Holland. Rotterdam, Delft and The Hague on a guided tour with many surprises not to be missed.

Description

During this full day tour we will discover the Netherlands outside the city of Amsterdam. A day full of variety and surprises in which we will see the modern architecture of Rotterdam, the second largest city in the Netherlands and famous for its architecture and commercial port, where we will also take a cruise to enjoy the city from the water. We will see the historic and picturesque city of Delft, the birthplace and final resting place of the Dutch master Johannes Vermeer. Known as the city of princes, it is also the place where countless members of the Dutch royal family have been buried for centuries. Delft is also famous for its blue pottery and we will be able to discover all the secrets of its manufacture thanks to a visit to one of the traditional factories that are still in operation. Finally, we will visit The Hague, which is not only the seat of the Dutch government, but also the home of the Dutch royal family and the third largest city in the country. The Hague is home to most of the Netherlands' foreign embassies, as well as 150 international organisations, including the International Court of Justice and the International Criminal Court. It is also home to the Peace Palace, several royal palaces, the Mauritshuis (with works by Vermeer, Rembrandt and Andy Worhol, among others) and the Binnenhof (meeting place of the Dutch government).

What we are going to do?

We will depart by bus from Amsterdam and head first to Rotterdam (approx. 90 minutes drive) to start the tour. After a short tour of the city, the first stop will be at the commercial harbour where we will take a 75-minute boat trip, the best way to see one of the largest ports in the world. You will see Rotterdam's imposing skyline, avant-garde architecture, harbours, shipyards and docks. After the harbour cruise, we will continue with the city tour, including a stop at the famous Market and Cube Houses. The next stop will be in Delft, where we will first enjoy some free time for lunch (not included in the price) and discover the historic centre of Delft, full of inspiring historical monuments such as the Old Church, the New Church and the Town Hall. We will also visit a factory specialising in handmade Delft blue pottery, the most sought-after porcelain since the 17th century. We will then stop in The Hague for a city tour before returning to Amsterdam in the late afternoon. All this always accompanied by a friendly, experienced and professional local guide who will give us all the information and indications necessary to have a complete experience.
