Description
For centuries, sailing has been the engine of voyages into the unknown, of discoverers conquering new lands, of traders and also of armed fleets attacking or defending against the enemy. Throughout the ages, sailing ships have been used to extend maritime trade routes and have been instrumental in their defence. Today, sailing is the dream of many. Feeling the wind carry you to new places, pushed by the wind, and even moving against the wind. Learning to sail is an activity within everyone's reach. Humans have been sailing for thousands of years. If a thousand years ago, without digital tools, it was possible to sail, you can also do it and learn easily. With this experience we will sail around the best scenic enclaves of Cabo de Gata, aboard a fantastic sailboat and accompanied by a professional skipper who will, at the same time, act as an instructor to show us the basic sailing techniques and teach us how to handle the boat and the sails ourselves.
What we are going to do?
A baptism of sea and sailing that you will never forget, aboard a fantastic sailing boat with capacity for up to 10 people and lasting 2 hours. We will depart from the port of Carboneras, in Cabo de Gata, and accompanied by a professional skipper, we will participate in the tasks of steering the sailboat, as well as trimming the sails. We will learn to control the helm of the sailboat, trim the sails, handle the winches and, with the help of the skipper, we will carry out all the usual sailing manoeuvres. The Bavaria Cruiser 34 is a large boat with capacity that offers all the comforts to spend a fantastic day sailing, with awning, sundeck, platform and bathing ladder, music system and toilets.
