Description
The Cabo de Gata-Níjar Natural Park is the first Maritime-Terrestrial Reserve of Almería. Of volcanic origin and of great ecological relevance, it is a very unique place in terms of landscapes and beauty, and with this experience you will discover its most interesting locations and all the stories and legends that exist. With it we will visit the most picturesque enclaves and all the riches of the coast and also of the interior, with a route that passes through the different ecosystems of the Sierra Volcanic Mountains, the Coastal Steppe, the Marine Strip and the Saline Wetlands, the only ones that remain in industrial activity in Andalusia and that have a high ecological value since it is the habitat of a multitude of animal and plant species.
What we are going to do?
4 hour excursion in a 4x4 vehicle with capacity for 6 people, departing from the town of Carboneras, we will visit all the most picturesque enclaves of the coast of Cabo de Gata. The tour ends at the Las Amoladeras Visitor Centre, where we will have the opportunity to visit the educational exhibition about the park with a 20-minute video projection. This route is an excellent and fun way to reach places that are difficult to access in a safe way, thanks to the experienced drivers who will also be excellent guides to enjoy Cabo de Gata to the full.
