Is there a better way to get to know the Cabo de Gata-Níjar Natural Park than sailing in a kayak? We can't think of a better way than this one.

Description

Discover the coast of Almeria touring the Cabo de Gata aboard a sea kayak. Enjoy unique landscapes and take the opportunity to get to know the marine fauna and flora with a snorkelling activity.

What we are going to do?

Two-hour guided kayak route through the Cabo de Gata-Níjar Natural Park. Departing from San José and accompanied at all times by an instructor. In addition, we will take the opportunity to snorkel and get to know everything that is hidden in the seabed. Before we start paddling we will have a short introductory class to learn how to use the equipment and what are the basic safety measures. We will start our route and we will make different stops in special spots to rest, refresh ourselves and finally we will stop for a swim and snorkel.

Itinerary

Depending on the weather conditions, we will do one of two routes: the "Ruta de Calahiguera" (visiting the Cueva del Tabaco and its marvellous natural pools) or the "Ruta del Castillo" (going along the bay of San José to its old castle where there is a large Posidonia sea bed for snorkelling).
