Description
Hop in the 4x4 and enjoy this route through the salt pans of the famous Cabo de Gata. On our tour, we will see a great variety of birds that live in and around the wetlands, the dunes of Cabo de Gata and we will pass through the mining village of the salt flats while watching advertisements and scenes from films shot in the area. If the weather is good, we'll take a dip in the sea and return through the interior of the salt pans. What are you waiting for?
What we are going to do?
We will make an off-road route through the Cabo de Gata salt flats, we will see its wetlands and we will arrive at the beach of San Miguel. Afterwards, we will pass by the dunes and the mining village of the salt flats. We will continue to the Mermaids Reef and the lighthouse of the Cabo de Gata-Níjar Natural Park. We will arrive at the viewpoint of Vela Blanca to take some photos and have a swim if the weather is fine. Finally, we will return through the interior of the salt flats and pass by an abandoned farmhouse.
