A fantastic route along the unspoilt beaches of the coast of Almeria to discover not only its fascinating and magnificent landscapes, but also to soak up the cinematographic facts that happened in the area while we watch fragments of them. You will be impressed by the coastline of the beaches of Mónsul and Los Genoveses. An unforgettable experience for the whole family to have fun in a 4x4. What better way to go sightseeing?
What we are going to do?
We will start the route at the Windmills, continue through the Pozo de los Frailes and as we go along, we will see scenes from films that have been shot in the area. We will head towards the gold mines of Rodalquilar, where we will stop for a guided tour of the mines and learn about the role they played in history. We will follow the route along the virgin beaches, passing by the beach of Los Genoveses and watching on the screens the films shot in the area. We will make a stop at Mónsul beach to take photos and take the opportunity to take a dip if the weather is good. You will also get to know the area where Spielberg decided to shoot part of the film "Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade". After the dip, we will go inside to see the landscapes and find out what led Federico García Lorca to write his work "Bodas de Sangre" (Blood Wedding).
