Sailing catamaran excursion to Tabarca Island, in Alicante
Description
Let the wind blow you along the coast of Alicante towards Tabarca Island, Spain's first marine reserve. Only around fifty people live on the island all year round. Tabarca Island is a magical place, brimming with nature and tradition, but without roads or supermarkets, and with the arrival of summer it becomes one of the most sought-after destinations on the Costa Blanca. Snacks, relaxation, swimming stops, crystal clear waters and a great variety of marine fauna are what make up this experience in this idyllic setting. We will also sail, enjoying the peace and calm that the Mediterranean Sea offers us while we discover the beautiful landscapes of the Costa Blanca such as Carabassi Beach, with its white sand, or the Cape of Santa Pola and its lighthouse.
What we are going to do?
We will take a 6-hour sailing trip on a fantastic catamaran that will take us to Tabarca Island, departing from the Port of Alicante. After leaving the boat, we will set course for the island and sail for approximately 1 hour and a half during which we will be able to enjoy beautiful views of the Costa Blanca and the Santa Pola lighthouse. Once we reach our destination, we will anchor in a quiet corner and have about 3 hours to discover the island, swim, snorkel and learn about the underwater life of the reserve. During this time, we will open the lunch buffet where you will be able to taste homemade dishes cooked with love such as salads, fruit and much more. In addition, the Casa Gloria Restaurant will bring us some delicious paellas directly to the boat. At around 15.30h we will weigh anchor and sail back to the Port of Alicante while we enjoy a drink or a cocktail on board.
